A lovely service to celebrate 120 years of our Mothers’ Union branch took place on Tuesday 25th March in St Mary’s church.
We were delighted to be joined by Bishop Adrian Wilkinson (Celebrant), Rev Ger James, Rev Arthur Barrett, Rev Canon Nicola Halford and Diocesan President Linda Ward.
Also present were members from other Mothers’ Union branches located within our Diocese.
Presentations were made to Linda Ward and our hardworking enrolling member Claudia Kidd. There were also certificates presented to longstanding members of our Mothers’ Union branch.
Following the service there were welcome refreshments served in the Church Institute where those present enjoyed catching up on friendships forged through the Mothers’ Union over many years.
